Provincial Secretary for Information Mrs. Ana Tomanov Makanov presented the top awards and notes of thanks to the best inventors and innovators, at the Executive Council of Vojvodina, November 11, 2008, Novi Sad, Serbia

The awards and notes of thanks were delivered by the Association of Inventors and Innovators of Petrovaradin - Novi Sad to the inventors who took part in the exhibitions in Hungary this year. Inventors from Serbia won 20 major awards and 14 notes of thanks in a big competition at the exhibitions in the cities of Abonj, Beremend and Hódmezővásárhely. Vice President of the Provincial Government and the provincial Secretary for Information Mrs. Ana Tomanov Makanov delivered rewards to the best innovators and inventors during the ceremony in the Executive Council of Vojvodina in Novi Sad, Serbia



Veljko Milkovic won the top prize GOLDEN PYRAMID for his invention HEMORRHOID TOILET SEAT at the above mentioned fair in Hungary. Ana Tomanov Makanov congratulated to the all inventors for obtained rewards and recognitions. These awards are the proof that knowledge, skills and art are profitable, but their practical application to improve the everyday life of citizens is what is the most important - said Vice President Ana Tomanov Makanov. She added that the establishment of cooperation among inventors from Serbia and neighboring countries was very important segment in the development of the country. “Every invention that is useful to our citizens contributes to the overall development of the country” said Ana Tomanov Makanov and added that she was especially happy because in the projects of the Association were included people with special needs and youth



To the delivery of the prizes attended: Caka Mikolji, in the name of the consul of the Consulate General of Hungary in Subotica (Serbia), Nikola Stojsic the president Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina and Andrija Aleksic from the Office for European Affairs
